HOW IT BEGAN

Established in 2012, Upward Sports created a Performance Division known as Upward Stars. This expansion provides opportunities for young athletes to further develop their athletic skills and participate in a higher level of competition.

In 2022 "Upward Stars" became "Stars Sports" as the two organizations had different missions. While values remained the same and the organizations still support each other, leadership from both organizations thought it would make the most sense to change the name as the organizations' missions differed. Stars Sports remains a Christian-led club and ultimately uses scripture as a guideline.

We believe that playing sports should be a life-changing experience that prepares young athletes for success on and off the court. Fun is not sacrificed for improvement and improvement is not sacrificed for fun. We place a priority on both and push athletes to succeed and improve while enjoying the process.

Our mission is to "Create a life-changing sports experience for the athlete and their family." We do this through our four values: Authentic Relationships, Intentional Communication, Growth Mindset, and Pursuit of Excellence.
