Coach DJ Kelly is in his second year leading the Marion High School Men’s Basketball Program, a role he embraces with deep personal significance. A proud alumnus of Marion High, DJ was an All-State point guard who propelled the Swamp Foxes to the SCHSL Lower State Final in the 2011-2012 season. His love for the game and dedication to his community are evident in his transition from a standout player to an inspiring coach.

Over the past decade, DJ has significantly impacted the travel basketball scene, serving as Upward’s Director of Basketball Operations and Regional Director for the Pee Dee region since 2018. His commitment to the sport is matched by his unwavering faith and mission to develop young men of purpose, using basketball as a platform to impart lifelong lessons and positively influence their lives.
