ANTHANEE DOYLE
DIRECTOR OF STARS CAROLINAS
Coach Anthanee Doyle, a Wingate University Bulldog basketball alumnus, is the current Director of Upward Stars Carolinas. With a diverse background in both nonprofit and competitive basketball, Anthanee has made significant strides in youth development. He previously led LifeSports, a nonprofit program aiding Title 1 middle school students through mentorship and basketball, and Elite1 Basketball, an independent AAU program that served over 100 athletes across three seasons.

In addition to his roles at LifeSports and Elite1, Anthanee served as the 3SSB Assistant Coach for Upward Stars 17U during the 2024 season. Now in his second season with Upward Stars Carolinas, he continues to leverage his extensive experience to foster player growth, promote athletic excellence, and inspire the next generation of basketball players.

JUSTIN HARRIS
DIRECTOR OF STARS CAROLINAS
Coach Justin Harris, a Charlotte native, has been a dedicated force in basketball for over six years, coaching varsity high school teams with a keen eye for developing talent. Currently, he serves as the head coach at Myers High School, where his leadership and expertise have made a significant impact on the program.

In addition to his high school coaching, Coach Harris has been with Upward for two years, where he excels as the Director of Upward Stars Carolinas and as the Head Coach of the 16U 3SSB team. His dual roles highlight his commitment to nurturing young athletes both on and off the court, guiding them towards their full potential.
